Gmaps Pedometer

Another discovery found through digg.com. This "Gmaps Pedometer" allows you to plot out a precise path on a Google map. Using this and some fuzzy math I've determined that I spend approximately $10 a day for the privilege of driving to and from work. That's around $200 a month, oh the joy!
