Twitter Stuff

Felicia Day has some good posts about using Twitter. As a Twitter novice anything can help. I do have a Twitter account, but frankly I don't use it much. Mostly I watch my personal web celebrities, who are more like blogging buddies than anything else. That and keeping track of my wife when she gets in the mood to tweet.

And Then There Were 3

I kept my eyes open this evening for the fox. After I heard the neighbors dog barking, I knew it was time. Then what do I see... 2 foxes. So Bridget comes over to take a look.. and spots a third. Now there are 3... at least. Yeah, I'm going to call Animal Control a lot tomorrow. Time for a fox relocation and I'm not going to take the lack of call backs this time.

Schlotzsky's Salad

Went to Schlotzsky's and since they were out of the salad I wanted, they gave me a free one.

Nothing better than free food.

I hadn't even thought about getting a salad from them until today, and I must say they make good salads.

Took a bit getting through the drive through, but it was well worth it.

Yum!

Scary News

Now, is this a post about my good friend Rebecca about to go under the knife to have some guts removed? Nope. Like the fact that I have a second child being born in around 2 months, I'm in denial. For such things I just close my eyes and hope it all works out well in the end.

This is about something horrible I heard about on the local news tonight. Our idiot disaster of a president will be moving his family to the Dallas area once he's done making a mess of the White House. If he moves near me I'll just have to leave this state of my birth for good.

Stop the world, I want to get off.

30 Today

I turn 30 today.

Where did my twenties go? I can say they were eventful. A lot happened right near the end, but it was rather busy all the way through. Two college degrees, a wife, a Star Wars wedding, the end of a career, the start of a new one where I belong, and a baby girl. Oh, and there's a house, two cats, and numerous other things.

One of these days I'll have to go back and fill in posts in this blog. Like little memory notes. If I don't I'll probably forget whole parts of my life. Like all the plays Rebecca was in, or the all night StarCraft games with my buddies.

Well today starts a new chapter in my life... or is it a new volume? How is one supposed to categorize their life?

Anyway, onward and upward!

Birthday Present

My birthday isn't until next Monday, but my brother-in-law and family's gift arrived today. I am in awe. I've been collecting Hayao Miyazaki's films for a while now. I already have quite a few, but was missing a few key ones.

Now I've got them all and then some. When I opened the package, inside sat the Studio Ghibli Movie Collection. This includes every Miyazaki movie plus others from Studio Ghibli! I am a very happy camper.

Wife's New Car

A NEW CAR!!!!!
Originally uploaded by FlipSide3.

So we got the wife a new car. The car is great, but buying from the dealer was not fun. Don't be surprised if I post a nice big fat rant here later on (cause I'm still fuming). In the future I think I'll be going to CarMax and try out the no-haggle pricing. That's starting to sound really good.

Maybe she'll be a scientist, musician, artist, or an astronaut!

The possibilities are endless!!!
